Ronin Tour 1980

“So in 1979, [Waddy Wachtel] along with Dan Dugmore, Rick Marotta and bassist Stanley Sheldon, the band Ronin was formed. Their initial Mercury album and subsequent tour opening for the Rossington-Collins Band has been met with a favorable critical and audience reception and things look exceedingly bright for the group's future.”

"Love's Coming Into My Life Again" by Waddy Wachtel

Whatever it is you want I’ve got it.
What else you need? I got it too.
And everything you see in me
That’s everything I see in you.

Yeah! Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Oh yeah!

I don’t understand it, why you’re still waiting
There’s no one there gonna pull you through.
I know I’ve got too many friends
I’d kick them out when it comes to me and you, baby.

Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Yes! Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Oh yes, yes, yes!

Baby, Love’s comin’ into my life again.
That’s right!
Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Oh yeah!

I know I didn’t meet you in a science class
That ringin’ in my head ain’t no school bell
I may be gone but I’ll be right back
I’ve waited for you, only time will tell

Now Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Uh huh! Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Now, don’t you feel it?
Love’s comin’ into my life again.
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah!
Love’s comin’ into my life again.

“It Touches Everyone” by Waddy Wachtel

I been here, I know I been before
I’m not quite sure when it was
It looks the same as it did before
But I don’t know what the reason was.

I guess it’s the time I made up my mind
I'd lie and lie if i was caught
I make up some things nobody wants to hear
Protect myself I thought.

They say it touches everyone
It’s comin’ around to me.
They say it touches everyone
It’s comin’ around to me

Maybe it was just the time of year
Maybe I was in the wrong state of mind
I could never say what kept me from the day
That I’d see in front of what’s behind.

So I go back down to where I used to live
I was lookin’ like a kid on speed
With my eyes all galzed rolled back into my head
Used to think that it was all you’d need.

They say it touches everyone
It’s comin’ around to me.
They say it touches everyone
Why ain’t it comin’ around to me?

Maybe I was dreamin’
Yeah, that’s it! Dreamin’
Oh, dreamin’ dreamin’

They tell me some folks, they really live a good old life
They take it, yeah, they take it slow
I was raised too fast, I should be put aside
But I think I learned enough to know

There ain’t no one waitin’ for me now
I’m supposed to have a home sweet home
Can’t go back in time, why should I leave behind
All these people that I seem to know?

They say it touches everyone
It’s comin’ around to me.
Hey there, you know I’m comin’
If you love me don’t you disagree

They say it touches everyone
It’s comin’ around to me
Hey there, you know I’m comin’
If you love me don’t you disagree
