Attempting another "Lightning Round," this time a quiz on Hair Care, Dave calls the Vidal Sasson Hotline; it's busy. Then to Clairol: busy there. Then back to Vidal Sasson: busy again. So Dave cuts the phone cord and gives phone parts to a British member of the audience. Later, guest guitarist Waddy Wachtel is given the quiz, one question at a time per segment. To close the show, Wachtel and Warren Zevon perform "Finishing Touches."
