Review: Waddy Wachtel Band at The Joint 1/18/10

The first Waddy Wachtel Band gig of 2010 was fantastic! The rain stopped, and everyone was so happy to be in The Joint on January 18 and get a big dose of that great burnin’ Rock ‘n’ Roll we always feel when we get together with WWB.

All the guys in the band got to show what incredible performers they are with such a variety of tunes. Check out the set lists...... Perfection! WWB can Rock through any kind of tune..... and they always do! It’s so cool hearing the people in the audience say, “I LOVE the way they do that song!”

We had a special guest perform one tune with WWB Monday night - P. F. Sloan. He sang “Secret Agent Man,” which he also wrote and was a big hit for Johnny Rivers. Phil Sloan has been writing and performing great tunes for a long time, and it was a treat to see him up there having so much fun with the band. When he got on stage, he said: “Can you imagine being Waddy Wachtel? Having all that talent? Wow!”

Everyone knows how talented Waddy is, and how lucky we are to have him burnin’ on guitar and singing such wonderful vocals at The Joint.
And........ We’ve got the best of the best up there with him too!

Yesssss......... It was fantastic! And we’ll be getting more of the Waddy Wachtel Band in 2010. This will be the 10th year of WWB consistently rockin’ it up on Monday nights. Yay!
